Take a look at slightly modified IB program that makes the problem go away. Then take a look at the Hex Edits of the bug. C32 is printing my TYPE2$ variable with trailing blanks. As I've positioned this field out at the right-hand side of the form, the trailing blanks go off the edge and "invisibly" wrap at which the line feeds take place. Printing a field defined as the length of the actual data results in no wrap and no extra line feed.
