Wow. I never knew about those commands. Thanks Grant! I did a quick test, and they worked perfectly! I'm not worried about parsing at the moment, because the control is the only place that the users will access the data. It's kind of like a free-formatted notes page where they can type whatever they want. I can store it in a 8000 byte keyed file, so they'll never run out of room. I am having trouble using a dynamic variable to read data from a file, but making a 8000 byte variable works just fine. So combining that with loadcontrol and storecontrol, I think this is going to work. Thanks much!
