I run it (XP) and it finishes in about 00h02
he runs it (Win7) and it sits there.... he thought it might be contention of some kind, so he ran it at about 02h00PM yesterday when he left... was still sitting there this morning at 06h30AM when he came in
I've written an IB program (actually month's ago when we went from C/16 to C/32) that he can run next month and it'll be one less burr under his saddle... it matches the Reporter output perfectly
For what it's worth.... I've been re-arranging many of our files to be able to take advantage of multiple keys... and Reporter was part of my "master plan" to speed up some reporting... but if I can't get this to work, I'll have little cred on this path.

P.S. I remember you being amused back in the C/16=>C/32 transition when I needed help getting reporter to fly... sorry to be nagging again.
P.P.S. there's nothing to fear from this German's "master plan"... it'e very modest in scope...
