I always use Record # when rebuilding....
after almost a full work day, I finally got the following output:
Comet Key Build Utility Version 13.00 08/05/2014 09:35
Input file: RCVHIST on SYS
Output file: RCVHISBK on SYS
Records written: 49924817, Time completed: 16:11
My assessment is as follows:
the progress bar cycles thru only once
after the first cycle there's no progress bar but everything is still running just fine (just that I can't see that)
after a long time (in this case 6h36) the KeyBuild ends and reports the audit trail (time and record count)
so... if there were some re-cycling of the progress bar until the process ends, there'd be no question whether or not the program is running or has crashed.
In the end... all was running fine, just couldn't establish this fact.
Thanx
