ListView question

Is it possible to reset the column titles in a ListView? I'm thinking about a program that would display labor or material transactions based on the users selections. Doubling up the titles, like "Emp/Vend" and "Hours/Unit" seems a bit confusing and makes the columns wider that necessary.
