RCPT TO: error

I'm having problems with the RCPT TO: segment

It is suppose to send back the result$ that starts with "250" but it doesn't

The result$ = 5.1.7 Bad Sender address syntax

my RCPT is
RCPT TO: myemailaddress@here.com

Any ideas ?
