Truncated Read

Have a TXT file that I'm reading into Comet. One of the records had "0A" embedded with the normal "0A0D" at the end. The INQUIRE truncated at the "0A". I vaguely remember another instance but I'm not sure whether it was "0A" or "0D".

WRITE's don't seem to truncate.
