Easy Scan

If I set easy scan on and process a screen, then click on another screen (ex: email). When I click back Comet treats the click as focus and "Enter" causing the program to exit the filed I was on. Any way to set easyscan off on "lost focus" and turn it back on when "in focus"? This is not a windows app but plain OLD Comet. Thanks
