The issue is the number of array references in the expression. There is a limit of around 16 allowed. The reason we haven't increased this is we have yet to design a solution that wouldn't end up requiring a version match between the compiler and the Comet runtime. This means that if you're running a newer version of Comet than your customer you may create an IB object that won't run on their system. This is a problem that I have actively been thinking about recently.
