Here's my additional testing and its WEIRD conclusion.
Restored the 07/11/14 & 07/18/14 Comet folders.
The 1st (480) runs OK. The second (485) fails. For some reason I had passed on the 481-484 comet updates. So, starting with the 480 setup, I Unzipped 481-487 and tested to see which update caused the crash. They all worked fine.
So, it's not in the Comet releases. So on to REL.
Heretofore, I hadn't been looking at REL so I hadn't thought to rename the special QMONITOR in COS that sits ahead of REL. One of my customers uses SECURE/PASSWORD for security. So I keep their QMONITOR live all the time so I can test.
So, I renamed the special QMONITOR (10/14/2013) to QMONSAVE. READY now shows REL version 14.02 instead of 13.03.
Ran my program and it breaks. Renamed QMONSAVE back to QMONITOR and the program works.
When doing a Comet update for the customer I refresh their QMONITOR with changes from the most current one in XTL. I did this on 07/17/14. This is why the problem started with the 07/18/14 download.
Now to see which QMONITOR started this.
Extracted QMONITOR out of 14.02-13.02 into REL and tested the program. Failed every time.
Renamed QMONSAVE back to QMONITOR and it works.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
