I thought my program was possessed after re-compiling... was a simple FOR/NEXT loop with indexing of the line upon which to print.. however had copied in a piece of code that found a way to set PRINT (0) (ET)
the program starts filling in the lines and proceeding down the screen, but the lines keep bumping up and the cursor jumps around... the thing is that TRACE shows that the line number is as I wished... so had to go back to basics and finally found the one character that was in error (EN) vs. (ET)
it's been a while since I've had the much vaunted "one line" or, in this case "one character" bug fix :)
