upgraded to "Latest and Greatest", started testing SearchFile
found the following:
if the file is:
A
B
C
and I look for:
A finds it
B finds it
C kills COMET
if I have:
A
B
C
*********************************************
A finds it
B finds it
C finds it
finally figured out the trigger was finding the last one
when I say "kills COMET"... have to get in Task Manager, manually kill all CosC, CosP... etc. etc and then restart the COMET service
Unfortunately, discovering the problem took about 10 hours over 2 days of tracing to find why it "went pear-shaped"

P.S. IMHO the problem is that the last line endeth not in "@0d0a@"
