It's the Windows temp folder, not COMET TMP you want. If you type %temp% into Windows Explorer it should open up the folder. If the person who did the printing was a CA client the Windows temp folder will be on the CA host, not the client.
You said they printed to SPL, which is an alias for a text printer. The temp files generated for a text printer will be named TXTnnn.txt, where nnn is a random number.
Try this yourself and then check the %temp% folder. You should see the doc in there.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
