Is the destination folder on the same network as Comet?, If yes, then you can use (CopyFile) or the CUTLCPY utility to do the transfers. Folder permissions and security can come into play.

Otherwise, you could do the copying to a folder and have an FTP batch process run to transfer the files "out there".
