There is a DOS call that will create an empty folder (no QDIR). It's called MKDIR. I just tried it with Comet32 and it did work. Give it the full path of the folder to be created. See doc below. Bob's solution should work as well.

BTW the old IB doc I linked to in my previous post is a bit out of date for some statements. For example the (EraseFile) mnemonic can be used with X00 as well as LUN 0 in Comet32.
