It depends on how your VPN is configured.

I use it and it is fast & secure.

Tell your IT Department, that your CometAnywhere VPN users require static IP. They usually can reserve the address for Users. My own experience shows that it works really well. I use this with a Astaro/Sophos firewall.

Comet requires that the IP stays the same in order to re-connect. I guess your CometAnywhere is the same.
