Has anyone tried Comet Server on VMware?

Client of mine want to upgrade infrastructure from rack-full of servers to two virtualization server.

I installed Proxmox (Linux based virtualization) and ran some test with Comet Server. Works well except for the TEST4 where the results were similar to what I would get from a high end 486 computer...

I suspect it is the way the NIC is "shared" in the virtualized server. A small added delay would greatly affect results taking it from a few seconds to a few tens of seconds. All NICs & switches are Gigabit on Server/Client.

I would be curious to know how TEST4 (1000x10) does on Signature's virtual servers.
