We have been testing Comet on VMware running RDP lately. We have made some changes that will allow us to run with an almost standard rdp setup.
Here is what we have tested...
Install comet servers on the console of a win2008 VMware virtual server. Install and run comet on the same system.
Open port 11751 to the server and connect with CometAnywhere.
Test4 times (1000/10) have been consistently 2.4 seconds on one server and 1.5 seconds on another.
This requires changes to almost all comet objects including Cos32, comet.exe, cfam, the file server and the security server.
We are still testing but everything looks good so far.

Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
