Yves:
When you right-click and choose "Print" for a text document all DocMgr does is (ShellExecute) the file with the "print" action. You'll get whatever the default action is for printing a text document. On my system it simply loads in my text editor. When you use "Print Text Docs" it enters a simple program that just reads each record and PRINTs it to the printer you have chosen.
You can write your own PRINT routine by making use of the "Process Docs" button. It allows for the user to select one or more documents that will be processed by a program you write. Your program can do anything it wants with those documents: print, email, archive, etc. The link below will give you info on how to write the DocProc program. It's under "Programmer's Interfaces" in the document.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
