Jim,

You don't need multiple desktop icons since you can specify the /S:nnn switch multiples times on the same line. "/S:10 /S:11 /S:12" locks me into 810-812, for example. I was just hoping a range option worked somehow, like your suggested one of /S:nnn,# or better, /S:nnn-nnn similar to how a range is defined in comet.ini, for consistency. For those installations which wish to, or need to, implement this switch to replicate local license session control or for operational control, it's a lot of extra typing on the target string per client stations.

P.S. - It's not a flawed process, it's a feature!! All you need to do is tweak the wiki Comet command line options docs to reflect that the requested session is a session number RELATIVE to the pool, rather than a specific term$ within the pool range. :-)

P.P.S. - Did you happen to have a suggestion for commonly defining a 2nd printer attached locally to the client machine, in similar fashion to defining Printer = LP1,W,N,,#:RAW,,, only for an additional printer LP2 attached to a 2nd parallel port (LPT2) of the same client for those client stations which have them?
