I have files with 10+ millions records with no problem.

I did see problems in the past when a file was created on an older version of Comet reached 4 GB on either the key (.I00) or data portion. This has been fixed for a couple of years now.

I would highly suggest that you rebuild your file by either do a COPY or a KEYBUILD.

This works best if you are running a latest or close-to version of Comet and Server Products.
