This problem has been identified with the special help of Brian Levantine.
We found that my Letter Printing sub-routine that allows me to print a text file as a form letter sometimes invoked the DrawText with the GetTextExtend with a paragraph that was empty. That would typically be an empty line between the Date and the Name & Address.
Using Comet 2004 build 331 and all previous versions, the GetTextExtend would return the text height equal to one line of text.
Using Comet 2004 build 334 and later, the GetTextExtend would return 65535 which is 0x0ffff or Minus One that is considered as an error.
The solution was to make sure that my "empty paragraph" included at least One space.
