I was able to connect to the server and did not find anything that would cause this. The symptom indicates that the network connection is dropped randomly. Cfam on the client connects to cfamnetserve on the host when a user starts up. That connection persists until that user shuts down. What is happening here is that the connection is dropped. This does not seem to be associated with periods of high activity, or times when the user is idle. In the latest server release coupled with the latest Comet release, we added a ping mechanism where cfam will send a packet to the server every minute to assure that the server is still connected, but I am skeptical of that change fixing this.
A google search came up with the article linked below. I do not know if that is the problem or not since I really don't know the hardware/virtual software configuration.
This issue remains a mystery.
