Aren't the Copyright character the character $A9 or Alt-0169 and the Registered Trademark symbol $AE or Alt-0174 ?

I tried them both in CED and they showed fine....

Remember when using the Alt-x method to prefix with a zero if you want a ANSI character (the Windows' character set). Without the prefix Zero you get the IBM OEM character (good old DOS)

for example
Alt-130 is 'e' accute
so is
Alt-0233

Beware! Printing on most RAW printers usually uses the OEM character set NOT the Windows' ANSI character set.

Having both on a system is a nightmare - trust me, I've been there - dunnit
