I resolved my VerifyFile transfer problem with the help of Brian Leventine. The problem was that I had an old version of COSC with a
bug in it that made file transfer not work. I'm not sure how this would have come about. One possibility is that I have two different
Comet2004WorkstationInstall executables on my system - one of size
6,500,352 dated 5/25/2004 and one of size 6,504,448 dated 6/3/2004.
Did this installation program get released twice with differing content? If so it's probably a good idea to post a big notice or get
out a blanket Email alerting this fact - if I grab a download on the first day it's available, I don't normally download it again or check to see if it has changed. Thanks in advance, Tom.
