Not a Signature issue. End-User who generates a ton of PDF emails just notified me today that they've had three customers in the past two days call in to say that their emails had attached .pdf documents that opened up fine. When they printed the documents, the Windows form template is fine but the variable text is illegible, see attached. The common thread? All three had just recently upgraded to Win10.
I have Win10 on one of my vms in the office. I opened one of my .pdfs generated from Comet with Comet PDF. It did the same thing, Yikes! So, I did the following: Downloaded & installed Adobe Reader with the MS 3.5 .net framework, downloaded & installed the current drivers/utilities for my HP CM1415fnw printer. After doing all that and rebooting all my .pdf documents print fine now. They also print fine if opened with MS Edge or MS Reader.
Oh, the other bad news was that all three clients reported that they could print .pdf documents from other sources without issue.
Anybody else have a fresh Win10 machine to run some tests??
