actually I've got to upgrade my test system to 503 but my PROD system is still 49*

I guess I've never used (FindFirstFile) with anything but COMET files in a single directory.... I've got one file per week for a year (10 months)

anyway... I'm pushed for time, so I'll probably make the COPY FILE1+FILE2+FILE3 stuff in a .BAT file and get everything in one file since I'vve gotta either write fancy SQL or BAT code or just "heads down" plodding along in a .BAT file
