msgbox comes up blank

Has anyone experienced a msgbox command that displays totally blank? No buttons, no message, just a white box. It doesn't happen often but when it does, only an F3/F10 will exit. At one account using Comet 32 and running mostly Comet 16 programs, it has occurred at least once on all workstations. Annoying! Just wondering how to resolve. Any ideas?
