OK... my buddies got back to me when they checked the data line by lin

this is a lookup of text descriptions that can be up to 60 characters

some of them are blank (CSV file has ~~ two delimiters consecutive

so the field is blanks and when we "lookup" in SearchFile it dies probably because I STRIP it down to a null string

is this something that you can trap and automatically return "not found"?

as I sais, I think it's only in one or two programs so I'll catch it here (for now)
