Searchfile Problem

I'm using searchfile to search an entire data record in a file. Here's my line of code: (Searching O1A, 756, K, 9, ASCII file, Comet32)

SearchFile (10,1511) Search$ 756 0 1 1,EXCP=ShowList

Most searches work just fine. But when I search for numbers, it doesn't always find them. If I search for 92.66, or 2.66, no problem. If I search for .66, no results are returned.

Any ideas why this could be happening?
