Friday at 4:55 I get an email from one of our larger end-users, 40+ comet licenses. Error 61 trying to run QMonitor/QEnditor. This is almost always some sort of network issue where Comet communications is interrupted. Not this time. I connected to the server and didn't see anything out of the ordinary until I opened up REL and the folder was empty! I unzipped the REL archive and all was good again. More info - a couple of weeks earlier the same account had an issue where all the node_99.cfg files had disappeared, a Sysgen put them all back where they belonged. To me, this sounds like some kind of anti-virus issue. But files were not in the Recycle bin, nothing showed up in the AV logs and Event Viewer showed nothing going on at the time of the files disappearing. Other than an end-user doing damage from Windows Explorer are there any other possibilities? Current versions of Comet Services and Comet.
