While testing some new code, test program created an empty email file.
File name was '.EML'
It caused all sort of problems with the systems.
A NETINQ would return all open files as FILENAME on EML where the actual directory was FSU
Connection 00042 Partition 00000
COMET01LUN FILENAME
1 Z1 on EML
H:\COMET.DATA\FSU\
2 C1W-SU on EML
H:\COMET.DATA\FSU\
Fortunately I was able within Comet to rename the file and erase it.
It also created very odd behavior on some systems, where the could not create new files (Keyed & Text).
I rebuilt the QDIR.DIR and restarted Comet on the "damaged" computers.
All looks good now.
The WHOHAS utility was also not working. Showed no open file when it was by 3 users.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
