Yes, the data is a single variable. You can parse it as you want. Yes, if you want to use a FORMAT then PRINT & INPUT the # buffer.

stlRead is for a sequential read where you need to push the pointer with stlNext, whereas stlGet is a read with index.

I want to try to put something more complex in there, like a piece of text with CR+LF. I want to use DYNAMIC variables as well to see how much I can stick in there.


I'll let you know the results of my tests to see if I can break the limitations.
