Brian, its as Robert said, although I was using 339. I upgraded the server to the latest Comet2004, running Windows 2000 Server. Loaded the workstations, all w98, and while I was doing that I was running the security update CD on a few of the workstations. After upgrading the security, comet would no longer connect, gave the message about needing to upgrade the version of Windows.
I chose to convert them to XP ,a good excuse and will help to ease the changeover to XP.
Whatever you do to test wether a version of windows is supported needs to allow for the upgradae to W98SE.
