No I did not recompile NOVA.

The problem is passing COMMONS to the HELP programs. The way Comet32 compiled programs passes COMMONs, is different than Comet16 objects.

So if my Customer Maintenance program and it's eight overlays rely on the COMMON block for HELP (aka lookup), then it simply does not work if any of the Maintenance program, NOVA, HELP-Lookup are Compiled in Comet32. That means that my Main Programs have to remain in Comet16 and miss out on all the new features of Comet32.

Using MESSAGE$ is a bit of a drag because of it's limited size and need constant re-assignment for each of the declared variables that are already on COMMON in the Library. It makes it not as trivial to add lookup programs where there was none before. It also means that I can no longer use MESSAGE$ for other purposes... I sometime used it as an additional filter in some lookup programs.
