Our printer is configured with the RAW (code below):
Printer = LP1,W ,N, ,Epson DFX-5000+:RAW,,;

It still seems to lose the escape sequences when dumping the job from the the spooler.

The configuration of the spooler is:
Spool = SP1,\\DellServer\MISData\Comet\Comet\SPL\;
