It's a bit more complicated than that but, yes, doing a NUM() before the STR() could cause it unless either another calculation with 0 precision or a PRINT was done between the NUM() and the STR(). Other things besides NUM() could also cause it. Any chance you'd like to test a pre-release of the fix?
