I had these errors occur when my modem was acting up. The line dropped for a second and the printer selector would no longer allow the PDF printer selection (CometPDF). I would close Comet and restart and all was good. I am still working with issues about the modem/ISP intermittently dropping, but that another problem.

I suggest you look at the hub or modem to make sure there is no issues there.
