CometPDF not overwriting existing pdf

In our clients emailing of order confirmations via CometPDF rather than erasing and creating a new pdf of the same name the old pdf is emailed. I checked the BullZip settings and the only thing I could find was "ConfirmOverwrite" which would suggest it should overwrite everytime. Any suggestions?
