Bob, Control Panel/Folder Options/View Radio Button => Show hidden files, folder, and drives. I do that on every PC I connect to. I also uncheck Hide empty drives in the Computer folder as well as Hide extensions of known file types.
Then you'll see the AppData folder. If you're on Win 10 the Folder Options might be called Windows Explorer options or something similar.
