This is a good sugestion, crystal reports has two special fields that you can use "Report Selection Formula" and "Group Selection Formala" that you can place on your output so you can see the criteria used in the selection. As well you can specify parameters that are place on the report that show the user what the data represents.
This should be part of the thinking, how could the cirteria from the view be passed out of Comet so the user reading the report created in Crystal knew what criteria was used in the view?
