Impossible to respond without knowing what is being inventoried. Our end-users inventory bolts of fabric. Each bolt has a dyelot # and a piece # along with a date received. It would be simple to establish an alternate index on date received for each bolt and then use them up in FIFO or LIFO order. What is being inventoried? Do you have a Date Received for each unit?
