The description of RAM is unclear. If RAM is under /COMET then it must be global and the recommendation in the text is that it be a local directory. And you do not say if RAM needs a QDIR. {I believe it does]

I configure all the "stuff from Signature" under a directory called Comet2K4 {Comet 2004} [Seems like there is an 8 char limit someplace] and all the user's data directories unders /COMET. With the operating system stuff under one master directory the /C option seems to work better as there is no QSTART2 file any in the tree.
