Just completing a project where most of the users are CAW. Ran into the following annoyances. 1) WDL - is there a way for Windows to tell me that the user changed a date control? Been usuing EDIT controls and FOCUS. Could be a lot simpler and cleaner. Like CBN.SELCHANGE or BN.CLICKED. 2) Any hope of enlarging cosCtlText$? LoadControl/StoreControl take a lot of coding that could be eliminated with a larger cosCtlText$ size. 3) Occasionally, while installing CAW I've found that permissions on the TEMP folder had been downgraded from FULL on "Everyone". CAW would run fine as an admin. But, gives the registration error for regular user. This also happens randomly which brings me support calls. 4) Customer is using IDMAINT. Set up the shortcut and run CAW as administrator. If I put in the ONETIME password it gets "eaten" by the administrator and is not available for the user. I have IDMAINT in another password. Have to remember to exit out of the 1st prompt, close CAW, run as regular user, enter one-time password. 5) IDFILE needs a last login date. Would help cleaning up where a user has multiple records. Like from #4.
