Whoa! This one was hard to find !!!!
In Comet32, when executing a Comet16 program, when executing a ASCHEX(string-argument, numeric-error-argument) if an error do happen, instead of a numeric-error-argument, Comet generate an EXCP 9 - Invalid File Name with an Opcode: 5B - Rename
This true ONLY for C16 objects on Comet32. C16 on Comet16 is fine so is C32 on Comet32.
This was discovered while doing a SEEK in CED where one of the usefiles had a malformed hex string with only a single space between the '@' pair . ie: "@ @"
CED un-hex characters when doing a SEEK looking for special symbols in USEFILE names. Most common being '_' underscore.
There will be a new release of CED soon to overcome this error and enhance the SEEK command.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
