OK the problem is that earn.amount and earn.hours are defined in #CFILES as STRING fields, not NUMERIC. You can't TOTAL them. When you use a string field in a TOTAL statement it just prints the last value. That's exactly what it is doing.

You should keep the SELECT and SORT before REPORT since you are only using primary file fields.
