Something changed...
If I make bunch of modifications to an existing program, I always recompile with an added '!' at the end of the object, so not to disturb production while I am debugging it.
I have an IBS program that has an 8 characters name. I did not noticed that the Object had a 9 characters name.
Last compiled in 2015.
When I went to compile it today, I received 2 errors:
a CFAM Error and a message that that the file already existed.
What I saw in the directory, is that it created a 1K file with the 8 character name followed by extension '.! '.
Here's the errors for compile in UEStudio:
Comet Error: File already exists for ABCDEFGH! on Y2KCFAM Error - 18
End compile - 2 error(s), 38 warning(s)
So why did it Compile properly in 2015, but not now? It probably compiled with the name as 8 characters and I never noticed.
I also noticed that UE compiles do not always show the compile results... And it looks like it is getting worst with time.
I am using Comet32.515/19.02 on Windows 7 Pro
