it would be nice to have a native function to do this thou.
right now i have a small function that reads what ever variable i push to it and looks at every character looking for one of the 2 and then inserting a \ in the front of it..
just kinda a work around

in another language i use PHP it is addslashes(variable name) or removeslashes(variable name)
just a thought
