I did have workstations where Comet wouldn't start. I usually fixed that by cleaning up the COSW.INI file.
You could try that.
Other options include re-installing Comet on top of Comet if the installation is local. You could also look at the registry and purge anything in the Signature Systems registry entries for both machine and user.
Want's you to run SETUP eh! Do yuo have Comet PDF? If so, maybe run the setup for it or re-install.
Are you running Latest & Greatest ?
