of a .csv into a current version of Excel is not the way to go.
Why do I know that? An end-user provided output from a Launched .csv
and it did not match the data in the .csv I tried it on my system
and sure enough, there were a handful of records that Excel had ignored
for some reason - bad character, format issue, I did not explore further.
Since then I always leave the .csv as is and put a message up on the
screen showing the path to the file. I provide simple instructions on
how to do a Data/Import from text/csv. That method brought in all records
from the same file that the Launch skipped records with.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
